General Admission Wine List

14 Hands

14 Hands wines are inspired by the unbridled spirit of the wild horses that once freely roamed eastern Washington. Measuring just fourteen hands tall — a “hand” equivalent to the width of one’s palm — these tenacious little horses would travel down from the hills every day to drink from the mighty Columbia River and graze along the riverbank, then retreat back to cool off at night. Washington’s wild horses have become living symbols of the pioneer spirit of the American West.

MERF

Merf stands for something. More importantly, someone: David “Merf” Merfeld. His journey from Iowa family farmer to Washington winemaker started in brewing, with some interesting detours along the way. Merf believes in honest, hard work and that's ingrained in these bottles of American craftsmanship. His wine is something to be discovered, tasted and enjoyed with friends. 100% Washington state-grown grapes, pure & simple. Columbia Valley vineyards are ideally located for grape-growing. A hot, dry climate and limited rain in Eastern Washington is perfect for grape vines. Both Merf and the grapes enjoy long summers: roughly two more hours of sunlight daily during the peak growing season than California, allowing more time for the fruit to ripen.
