Purchasing Tips

Take the stress out of the buying process

We know that getting tickets to Telluride Jazz Festival can be difficult. After this past year, we went back to our fans to get your thoughts on how to improve the experience. Thanks to your valuable feedback, we are pleased to offer some valuable insight to help ensure you are prepared when tickets become available. We hope this helps to take some of the pressure out of the purchasing process.

  • It's best to go directly to our Front Gate Tickets Page to purchase tickets. Each ticket buyer will need a user profile with Front Gate Tickets in order to purchase tickets. Click “Sign In” in the menu bar up top to create a profile using your name and email or you can connect your Facebook account.

  • Go directly to our Front Gate Tickets Page prior to 10 am MT on Friday, February 1 and be ready to purchase. It’s recommended to pre-authorize the purchase with your credit card company so you don’t risk getting declined. At 10 am (MT), you will need to refresh the page to expose the available tickets once the on-sale time is triggered.

  • Act fast! Once you add your tickets to the cart, you will have 8 minutes to complete your purchase. To prevent yourself from running out of time, look at the ticket options ahead of the on sale.

  • Tickets are not sold out until they explicitly say “sold out”. If tickets are listed as “unavailable”, it means they are all in shopping carts. Note that not all tickets in shopping carts become successful purchases. Due to credit card declines or time-out limits, tickets often become available after they’ve been carted. If a ticket is unavailable, try refreshing your browser to get a second chance to get the tickets in your shopping cart.

  • There is a strict ticket limit per household per day. Folks who exceed ticket limits may not be able to purchase or may have any or all of their orders and tickets cancelled without notice. VIP Passes are limited to 10 per purchase. GA Passes are limited to 10 per purchase. Safari Cabanas are limited to 1 per purchase.

  • Don’t be fooled by scalpers! Only purchase Telluride Jazz Festival tickets from the official Telluride Jazz Festival ticketing page. If you purchase from another source, you risk purchasing a counterfeit or invalid ticket. Telluride Jazz Festival cannot guarantee tickets purchased from unofficial sources like unauthorized 3rd party re-sellers (individuals or brokers).

  • Before the on-sale date, be sure to check out all our FAQs. If you have a general question about your order before or after purchase, contact info@telluridejazz.org. Please remember the demand will be high, and we will get to your questions as soon as possible.

Best of luck and thank you for your continued support!

Wristbands

After making a ticket purchase, each buyer will receive an email containing the tickets as a PDF attachment. Please be sure check your junk or spam folders if you do not receive your tickets in your inbox. Ticket buyers can choose to print the tickets out or save them to a smartphone. Looking For Sold Out Tickets? Join The Official Wait List!

Telluride Jazz Festival has teamed up with Lyte to give our attendees a safe way to get official tickets after tickets have sold out. This is a fan-to-fan exchange that eliminates the worries of purchasing a fraudulent ticket from a scalper, craigslist or third party like Stub Hub. All tickets are issued by our ticketing provider, Front Gate Tickets.

LOOKING FOR SOLD OUT TICKETS?

The process is simple. Request a ticket now. As soon as tickets are available, Lyte will complete your purchase automatically at the price offered, with no hidden fees. You will only be charged if Lyte finds you tickets.

Am I guaranteed a ticket when I make a request?

A request is not a guarantee of a ticket. How many tickets are returned determines how many tickets are available for buyers. If you do not receive a ticket, you will be notified when the exchange closes.

Where are these tickets coming from?

All tickets are sourced from original ticket holders and are 100% verified for authenticity.

BOUGHT TICKETS AND CAN’T MAKE IT TO THE FESTIVAL?

Connect Lyte to your primary ticketing provider to easily import your tickets. Get an Instant Offer from Lyte – their fair market offer price is almost always more than face value. Get Paid Within 24 Hours of the Event - after accepting Lyte's offer, another fan will get your tickets.

How close to the event can I place a request to sell my ticket?

Return your ticket anytime before the event while the Exchange is open. Typically an Exchange closes a few hours before doors open to the event.

I've placed a request to Return my ticket but didn't get an offer, how long should I expect to wait?

Look for an estimate of your wait time in your Return confirmation email. The wait time depends on how many requests are made for tickets like yours. Wait times are usually much shorter closer to the event.
