The countdown is on! The 2026 Telluride Jazz Festival returns to Telluride Town Park on August 7–8, bringing two unforgettable days of world-class music, mountain views, and the vibrant community that has made this festival a summer tradition for nearly five decades.
Before you pack your bags and hit the road, here's everything you need to know to make the most of your weekend in the San Juan Mountains.
Tickets & Wristbands
Your order confirmation was emailed immediately after purchase. Festival tickets will be sent approximately one week before the event as PDF attachments that can be saved to your smartphone wallet, image gallery, or printed.
Upon arrival, all guests must exchange their ticket for a wristband at the Festival Box Office:

Please note:
Every ticket holder must be present to receive their wristband.
A valid photo ID is required.
Wristbands are non-transferable and must remain securely attached for the duration of the festival.
The festival takes place rain or shine.

Bringing the family? Children ages 11 and under receive free admission when accompanied by an adult ticket holder.

How to Pack for Telluride Jazz
Think mountain casual. Start with sunscreen and sunglasses for sunny afternoons, add a light jacket or fleece for cool evenings, and don't forget rain gear—this is Colorado, after all. Toss in a refillable water bottle, your favorite low-back chair, and comfortable walking shoes. If you're camping, pack extra layers for overnight temperatures. The goal? Be prepared for sunshine, an afternoon sprinkle, and dancing under the stars—all in one day.
Accessibility
Telluride Jazz Festival is committed to creating an inclusive experience for all guests. Accessible restrooms are available throughout the venue, and a dedicated viewing are near the sound booth accommodates wheelchair users and their companions.
A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available in the Telluride Town Park parking lot via the vehicle bridge at the main entrance.
Parking & Getting Around
There is no dedicated festival parking lot, but legal parking is available throughout Telluride. Metered parking is enforced Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During festival weekend, residential permit parking restrictions are suspended.
Once you're in town, many destinations are within walking distance, and Mountain Village is easily accessible via the free gondola.
Leave Your Pets at Home
As much as we'd love to welcome your four-legged friends, Town Park regulations prohibit pets in both the festival grounds and campground. Please make arrangements with a local boarding or pet-sitting service if traveling with your pet.

Please remember:
Open containers are prohibited throughout Telluride and Mountain Village.
Alcohol purchased inside the festival may not leave the grounds.
Stage II Fire Restrictions are currently in effect. All guests are expected to comply with local regulations throughout their stay.
