Julian “J3PO” Pollack is a Los Angeles-based pianist, keyboardist, producer, and sound designer celebrated for blending jazz, fusion, hip-hop, and electronic music. Described by Time Out New York as a musician who “deftly balances virtuosity with tenderness,” Pollack has built a reputation for pushing the boundaries of modern keyboard performance.

He has toured and performed with renowned artists including Terence Blanchard, Marcus Miller, Chris Botti, Herbie Hancock, Santana, Kamasi Washington, Talib Kweli, and David Sanborn, among many others. His work spans live performance, recording, film scoring, and sound design for leading music technology companies such as Nord, Sequential, Oberheim, Universal Audio, and Spectrasonics.

Performing under the moniker J3PO, Pollack has released several acclaimed projects, including Small Plates, Mains, and his latest album, Soul & Circuitry (2025), a vibrant fusion of analog synth textures, contemporary production, and jazz improvisation. He currently tours with his trio featuring Gianluca Pellerito on drums and Riccardo Oliva on bass.
