The woman is the stuff of legends. In a career that spans four decades, Dee Dee Bridgewater has accomplished, well, legendary status, and we’re honored to have her perform on our beautiful mountain stage. Dee Dee’s glorious voice has earned her 2017 NEA Jazz Master honors, three Grammys and a Tony award. Propelled by her humanitarian heart, she serves as a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Food And Agriculture Organization, a role she relishes as she continues to work for financing for global grassroots projects in the fight against world hunger. The Memphis-born singer recently returned to the city of her birth to make a record that pays homage to Soulville, Memphis … Yes, I’m Ready. Dee Dee, so are we!
